‘Last Night in Paradise’ was born from a blurry, quick snapshot, and my desire to take a piece of La Finca Paradiso home with me. I spent a week painting here in the Moorish region of southern Spain on retreat/residency with Sari Shryack in 2022.
This place is so special to me, and the healing I gained here gave me a new lease on life during the midst of a difficult period of time. Ultimately, being in this place, led to the decision and deep found knowledge that making art was what I wanted to do with my life.
